it was suppose to cost me around $60, but ended up costing $80
Noisy garbage trucks in the early morning.
...Proximity to Opryland Hotel is very good...and that is where I had to have access to...
My room met my conference-stay needs, but appeared a little run-down. I was on the 3rd floor, and the elevator-of-choice was in poor condition and incredibly hot inside. My opinion is that Fiddler's Inn is an acceptable place to stay in the Opryland Hotel/Music Valley area, but I would want to try other similar, competing lodgings in the area on my next visit/conference.
Nice and friendly staff. Close to everything. Easy outside entry.
The elevator didnt work, we had to carry our cooler and luggage up and down the stairs. Not enough parking on the side we were on, we had to park on the other side of the building. That added to the stress of the elevator not working.
Convenience to Grand Old Opry.
We tried to check in early and the person behind the desk (an older woman) was not very friendly.
The room was hot, air conditioner loud, smoke alarm beeped all night due to dead battery, had a smoking room with no ashtray, couldn't connect to internet, pillows old and flat and should have been replaced, tv reception/picture, room had not been updated since about 1980's , could not locate the continental breakfast.
picking up dumpsters at 6:00am in parking lot next door. big holes in one of our blankets on bed. shower ran either very hot or very cold
Convenience to area events and entertainment
? No complaints, well satisfied
We stayed at Fiddlers Inn because it was inexpensive and close to the Opry.We signed up at the desk on Fri.Mar 18 for a shuttle to take us to the Opry. We were told to be waiting by 5:30. The shuttle came at 6 and would not let us and another couple on, because they didnt have our name. I went inside to talk to the clerk who was on the phone. She was concerned about finding a booking for 64 people or whatever. She didnt acknowledge me at all. I stood there for a while. Went back outside and waited. My husband went inside, she was still on the phone. I went in again, started talking to her about another shuttle. She did not look at me or stop her phone call. A young man(not an employee) followed me outside. We 4 told him our problem. He called for another shuttle for us. We were picked up at 6:45. The Opry started at 7.
Close to meeting at resort across the street.
The breakfast was not up to par with other motels of same price point.
Inexpensive, Close to Opryland, Close to restaurants
It was quiet and convenient to everywhere we wanted to go.
Took awhile for the hot water for the shower.
We always enjoy staying there but the beds were really hard this time. I love the staff and the location for what we come to nashville to do.
We could get a shuttle to downtown for 20.00 round trip for the two of us!! What a great deal!!!!
Nothing. ...... It was a great place to stay!
I had reserved three rooms to accomodate family for a surprise 40th birthday party at Opry Mills . I did not want them to have to drive far after the party. We arrived at the rooms after the party at midnight to find that we could not get into one of the rooms. It took several hours to correct the problem the battery in the card reader was failing. We did not get even a sorry for the delay . My family waiting for the room disturbed others staying the night . I hope they got a sorry from someone other than us .
